Just a Pixel is a digital agency based in Brighton. We make Videogames and create Interactive Experiences through art installations and event pieces. We take pride in the attention we put in all our products; we craft and tailor experiences to create lasting impressions.
We never get tired to experiment with new technologies and play with innovative ideas. Our staff (“Pixels”) have an ever-changing and constantly evolving skill-set: Arduino, Leap, AR, Oculus Rift and Kinect are an infinite playground for us.
Co-Founder, The London Game Jam

Founding of an event where we brought together 50 developers to create games over a period of two days for charity. I was responsible for finding the sponsorship of the event which lead to Microsoft, Nokia, GitHub, Insert Coin Clothing, Desura and Modern Jago sponsoring the event by providing prizes, event space and promotion. In total the event raised £800 for the Charities (Childs Play, EFF and Special Effect)
Interactive Director, Happy Finish

After only being there two months I was asked to become a Director of the company and to grow the department by hiring new staff. I was also responsible for developing custom applications for high-profile clients from pitch phase to completion, handling the management of resources and deadlines along with development of the final product.

I was approached to become the first freelance developer at Happy Finish for the Mercedes Citan AR project. During this time I set-up pipelines for artwork to be submitted into the application along with providing highly polished shaders for the work.

Rampant Studios initially started as a game development studio in London however as of November 2011 it was turned into a personal company as base for all contracting work carried out by myself.
Software Developer, Grouptree

My first real taste at development in a very commercial environment, Grouptree allowed me to demonstrate my programming ability and team management skills that grew throughout my year working with them. During that time I took charge of the development of the Primark website along with being contracted out to Dresdner Kleinwort to develop their internal CMS.
